Cypriot first division club Apollon Limassol has made a clear offer for Jean Sony Alcenat whose Romanian club Petrolul Ploiesti is financially struggling after the arrest of its owner Dan Capra. According to the Daily Transylvania Express, this is the first clear offer for the Haitian player. The Cypriot club is under the care of the Romanian coach Ioan Andone.

The amount of the offer has not yet been disclosed.

Getafe is still interested in Jean Sony Alcenat. Cosmin Contra, another Romanian coach who has worked with Alcenat in Romania, is hoping that Getafe can come up with the resources to sign up the talented defender by January 2015. The Spanish first division club is hoping to fill the void that will be left by Algerian Mehdi who will spend about a month in Africa representing his national team in the CAF.
